Operational priorities
The UK Film Council three year strategic plan: Film in the Digital Age details the main priority areas of operational focus for UK Film Council activity.
It also details the key outcomes the organisation wants to deliver in the period April 2007 to March 2010.
The Policy and Funding Priorities as set out in the three year plan is detailed within the Funding Agreement between the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the UK Film Council:
DCMS-UKFC Funding Agreement
The Funding Agreement, between the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the UK Film Council (UKFC), is for the two-year period between 1 April 2006 and 31 March 2008, and details the key strategic outputs and outcomes, which the UKFC will deliver against DCMS' key objectives and also its contribution to wider public value in return for the funding allocated to it.
The Funding Agreement for the period April 2008 to March 2010 is currently being drafted and will be published once agreed.
Operational Plan
The purpose of the Operational Plan is to provide an overview of UK Film Council performance to date and to detail the key activities to be carried out during 2007-08 which taken together will assist in the delivery of the longer-term goals, as set out in the three year plan.
The 2008-09 Operational Plan is currently being drafted and will be made available once agreed.
