19/12/2008 Two UK filmmakers offered unique chance to access all areas at Tribeca Film Festival 2009
The UK Film Council and its US Office is offering two British directors from black, Asian and minority ethnic communities the chance to take part in six invaluable days of networking and relationship building opportunities at the Tribeca Film institute's signature programme, Tribeca All Access, which is held during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York (22 April - 3 May 2009).
12/12/2008 Lottery funded Sally Potter film selected for Berlin Film Festival 2009
The wave of success for new British films continues with Sally Potter's Rage selected to screen in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival (5-15 February 2009). The film was co-funded by the Lottery through the UK Film Council's New Cinema Fund.
More than £2 million of Lottery money is being invested in 15 British film production companies to develop new feature films through the UK Film Council's Development Fund.
